“We had a super family ‘cooking day’ at Casa Fellini, as part of our Christmas celebrations recently. Christine put together a delicious menu, using simple ingredients and easy to follow recipes. We were soon chopping, grating, stirring and laughing our way to a fabulous lunch which we thoroughly enjoyed. Christine is very hospitable and makes even the most novice cook feel confident in her kitchen. Her recipes have become favourites and we have all gone on to re-create her recipes over and over again at home.”

“I was given a voucher as a birthday present to attend the Casa Fellini Cookery School with Christine and it turned out to be the best present I have ever had. I chose the dinner party master class and was overwhelmed
with its content. Christine creates a lovely atmosphere where complete strangers or groups of friends can enjoy learning together. The menu was amazing, filled with a variety of dishes that delivered on flavour and easy (with excellent guidance and encouragement) to put together. The session was organised wonderfully, I learned a great deal, and Christine’s tuition gave me confidence to try new ideas once I started practising at home. If you are interested in cookery even a little, I would recommend the Masterclass to everyone and cannot wait to book my next one. By great good fortune I was able to also catch a pasta making demonstration give by Christine at the Gourmet Food and Wine Fair and Bromham Mill on the 7th July in aid of Bedfordshire Rural Communities Charity and that was brilliant too.” Patricia (Harpenden)
“If you have never thought of or don’t plan to make your own pasta, we can highly recommend you joining Christine Fellini on a pasta making demonstration workshop. Although we all read about how easy it is; to actually join a professional making pasta demonstration brings richness to the experience and dispels the many myths about pasta and pasta making. Christine’s 1 hour demonstration was interactive, so for those who have yet to get “stuck in” can, and for the observers the experience was also great. As pasta lovers we were looking forward to the experience, what we didn’t expect was the delight of making fresh pasta and the outstanding flavour from freshly made pasta. We are now converted and want make our own pasta. “Being a bloke I tend to treat most stuff in the kitchen with more than a little flippancy. Christine handles this well, and by deft slight of hand and a bit of wit, manages to elicit moderate cooking skills, even from me. Oh, and we have a bit of fun thrown in, just before we sit to down to eat like lords and drink like fish with some very drinkable wines ala Christine. Looking forward to my next visit.”
“We asked Casa Fellini to provide and serve some canapes for a large summer party in August 2009, and Christine excelled herself. Christine provided about seven different canapes ranging from a selection of delicious bruschetta, some little meatballs, arancini, and finishing with a shot of chilled pea soup which all kept my guests on their feet until the barbeque was ready. We received many compliments on the food and it was wonderful to have someone taking the pressure off whilst I was preparing the main course (although it did of course put the drinks bill up)”

“Maybe it was that our friends thought we could not cook, but for whatever reason, they bought my husband and me 2 gift vouchers for a day’s Italian cookery course at Casa Fellini. We had such a wonderful time! We worked in 2 groups of 2, with people whom (initially) we did not know, but there was much fun and laughter.
Christine is an excellent teacher with an inborn sense of which foods complement each other and of how to blend the best flavours together. She is friendly, knowledgeable, and very entertaining. Amazingly, the two groups cooked 2 different 4-course meals in the space of a couple of hours.
These delicious repasts were then devoured with extreme enjoyment (together with some carefully chosen wines.) It was an excellent day. We are now returning for more!
We are about to take some other friends of ours with us for another day at Casa Fellini…..they are not aware of what a treat is in store….we can hardly wait……..”

“Italians are renowned for using fresh seasonal ingredients, which is exactly the case at Casa Fellini. Here you can learn anything from fresh pasta, risottos to wonderful desserts to name but a few. Working in a small group gives the class a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere and the best part is that you get to sit down and eat whatever you have cooked. I am looking forward to the next one!”
Christine’s cooking lessons are great fun and full of useful tips and information to make it easy to reproduce authentic Italian food at home. Best of all though, at the end of the lesson there is the chance to enjoy the food you have just made in a leisurely, Italian sort of way!
